Make good use of your old 2" olympic weight plates, simply slide your plates over the handle and onto the loading shaft, add a locking collar and swing away! WEIGHT PLATES AND COLLAR ARE NOT INCLUDED
Rattling between weight plates may occur if the locking collar is not strong enough. I recommend using a "competition style" locking collar which allows the normal locking to the bar but also clamping of the weight plates together to prevent rattling. These are available from Strength Shop as "2.5kg Weightlifting Collars" or ESP Fitness as "ESP Competition Collar Set"
The stainless steel handle has low thermal conductivity compared with standard mild steel and so is much warmer on the hands particularly in the cold winter months! It will not rust or corrode in any way and so will last forever even if left outside. It stands upright on the base for easy storage.
Now with the option for knurled or plain handles! My knurling has been designed to be the perfect depth to provide extra grip when sweaty and hold chalk well without being too sharp or abrasive on the hands.
