Steel Mace Swinging is THE Fun Habit to stay fit and strong!

It is SOOO much easier to form healthy habits with activities we find enjoyable. I believe that part of our responsibility as humans is to make the most of our bodies, keeping them as healthy and effective as possible, it's clear that some kind of movement practice is key to making that a reality.

I am lucky in that I find pleasure in many forms of movement and functional fitness training, but if I had to pick one, it would be the macebell. Steelmace swinging a never-ending progression that brings me so much satisfaction. Whether it's building strength and injury prevention through heavy traditional swings such as the 360 or 10-2, challenging my mind body connection by learning a new flow or conditioning my base fitness though high volume sessions, the mace gives my so many oppertunities to find joy and simultaneously enhance my body's potential.

If you struggle to find enjoyment in movement, you just haven't found the right modality yet. It's going to be so much harder to find motivation for something that doesn't feel fun to you. There's no point in begrudgingly forcing yourself on that run which makes your knees hurt or to the gym where you feel judged and lonely. There is something out there for you that will make you feel excited to pick it up time after time again. And who knows, with time, maybe it will help EVERYTHING feel easier and more fun!

For me, that thing is the mace, maybe it could be for you too!
