Mace Swinging is the Magic Bullet for your Shoulder, Neck or Back Pain!

Our shoulders are designed to rotate and our spines to twist, our bodies have evolved to allow us to be agile, move in every direction whilst simultaneously wielding and throwing weapons. We are not cut out for remaining stationary, only moving through very limited ranges of motion.

I spent 7 years working a full time office job suffering from chronic rhomboid pain around my shoulder blade before I discovered the mace. After just a few weeks of regularly swinging mace the pain evaporated.

The mace puts the shoulder through a full range of motion, no other exercise has the ability to develop shoulder strength under load through a full range of motion. The mace forces us to generate power through the spine in a twisting motion, moving the body as one fluid engine. The mace requires balance and coordination, the ability to relax and let momentum do its thing before timing our inputs to drive the motion. It is truly a full body and mind workout.

I believe a body that has all of its functions unlocked, as nature intended, is also healthy and correctly aligned, because it has to be, and therefore feels good!

Yes, conventional, often bilateral training is great for many reasons but if you are only training pressing and pulling you are ignoring these amazing abilities of our body and can lead to feeling stiff, limited and unable to produce power through our range of motion.
